India on Wheels

India on Wheels is one of the best food trucks in Pittsburgh.  Its located in Oakland one block up from the Cathedral of Learning on Bigelow Blvd.  Going to Pitt I have had many good experiences with Rita from India on Wheels and this time was no different.  Over the years at Pitt I had to convince many people why they should try some of the delectable food that comes from some of these trucks.  This time though it was only myself who was going to enjoy a meal.  Rita has many different things to choose from so today I decided to go with something I had never had.  The Mango Chicken Curry.  Now I am not against spicing up food, but be warned if you tell Rita you want it spicy you will be in for a painful surprise.  After ordering it took no longer than two or three minutes from my Mango Chicken Curry and my Mango Lassi.  Getting both of these items from $6.00 is one of the best bargains in Pittsburgh.  The only downside of India on Wheels is there are no tables close by from which you can enjoy your meal. I would recommend India on Wheels to anyone what is looking for a quick bite to eat when in Pittsburgh.  Also as an added bonus you can call at 412-378-6611 and tell her your order and she will have it ready for you when you get there.  This does work well when your trying to avoid the lines at lunch.
